Peggy Anne Chitwood Brown, 79 of Anderson SC passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at her home.
Born in Anderson, SC on January 26, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Johnny and Elsie Chitwood.
She is survived by her sons: Thomas H. Brown (Debby) and Jonathan Mark Brown; daughter: Lynn Brown Thrasher; 7 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she predeceased by 2 sons: Brian Christopher and Eric John Brown.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2015 from 10am to 11am at Sosebee Mortuary Downtown Chapel.
Graveside services will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 11:30am
The family will be at the home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Elks Lodge 1206 Scholarships Fund, 225 McGee Rd, Anderson SC 29625; or a charity of their choosing.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory Downtown Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
