Peggy I. Gambrell, 90, of Williamston, SC, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.
Born on November 21, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Alberta and Leland Erskine. Peggy is survived by her Children: Nina Gossett, Robert E. Gambrell Jr. (Gail), Rhonda G. Coker (Landy), Randy Gambrell (Lynn), and Ronald Gambrell (Rachel); Sister: Barbara Smith; nine Grandchildren and eight Great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Peggy is preceded in death by her First Husband: Charles Richard Irby, her Second Husband: Robert “Bobby” Gambrell; Brother: Jim Erskine; Sister: Norma Ellison; and Her Son: Charles Phillip Irby; her Grandsons: Travis Gossett, Dustin Gambrell, and Rob Gambrell.
Graveside services will be held at 10am on Monday August 17, 2026, at the MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery and will be officiated by Pastor Mark Roberts.
The family will be at their respective homes.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.
