In Loving Memory of Peggy Jean Few
Sunrise: January 5, 1954 – Sunset: April 9, 2025

At age 71, our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend passed peacefully from this life, leaving behind a legacy of love, selflessness, and strength that will forever remain in our hearts.

She was the daughter of the late Francis Theodore Upton and Myrtle Frances Haley Upton and the wife to the late Richard Lee Few Sr.

She is survived by her sons: Richard Lee Few Jr and Brian Keith Few (Charissa); grandchildren: Noah Brian Few, Elishah Lee Few, Madison Grace Few, Landon Keith Few (Allysha), Noah Derane Chandler and Angel Gabrielle Few.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her siblings: Dale Upton, William Earl Upton, Mary Upton and Pricilla Ann Smith.

She was small in stature, but a giant in character—her presence filled every room she entered. A gifted hairdresser for most of her life, she touched countless lives not just with her hands, but with her heart.

She had a way of making people feel seen, heard, and cared for. She never met a stranger, and if she had a dollar left, she’d give it away without hesitation to someone in need.

Her love for life showed in the little things—tending to her garden, watching beauty grow from the soil, stringing up Christmas lights with the joy and wonder of a child, and sharing her home with her beloved dogs who were more like family than pets. Her spirit shone especially bright during the holidays, when her home radiated warmth, light, and laughter.

She had a heart that loved everyone, and she carried the weight of the world at times without ever showing it. Her strength was quiet, but unwavering. She had the incredible ability to make something out of nothing—whether it was a meal, a decoration, or a moment that needed hope.

But above all, she was proudest of her grandchildren. She spoke of them with a glowing heart and beaming smile, their accomplishments her greatest joy.

We will miss her deeply—her compassion, her laughter, her giving spirit, and the way she made everyone feel like family. Though she has gone on to glory, her love and light remain with us always.

The family will be receiving friends from 5:15-5:45 pm followed by a memorial service at 6 pm on Monday, April 14, 2025, at Set Free Church, 4415 Hwy 153, Easley SC 29642, with her grandson, Pastor Landon Few officiating.

The family will be at the home of her son and daughter-in-law: Brian and Charissa Few.
