Phyllis G. McConnell, ‘Pee Wee’, 75, of Anderson, SC, passed away October 10, 2014 at Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Abbeville County, SC, on August 31, 1939; she was the daughter of the late Grady and Lois Latham Gable. She was a member of Homeland Park Baptist Church and married to Truman McConnell.
In addition to her husband, Truman; she is also survived by sons: Mark McConnell and Scott McConnell (Susan); daughter Melissa Donald (Robert); sister Shelby Gentry; 7 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Homeland Park Baptist Church on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 officiated by Rev. James Strickland at 2pm. Private burial will follow at South Lawn Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends prior to the service at the church from 1pm – 2pm and will be at the home of her daughter, Melissa.
