Rebecca Shaw Garrett, 73, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2026, at her home. She was born on February 16, 1953, and raised by her parents, the late John C. and Lillian Shaw.
She is survived by her sons: Roger “Bud” Vaughn and Corey Vaughn, both of Belton, SC; sisters: Debbie Haney (Thom) of Newport News, VA and Betty Korang (Reza) of Anderson, SC; grandchildren: Ariel Vaughn Davis (Auston), Selena Vaughn (Carlton Gandy), Samantha Vaughn, Eathan Vaughn, Izabella Wolverton, Holt Watson, and Miley Williams of Williamston, SC; great grandchildren: Waylon and Weslynn Davis of Honea Path, SC, Paisley Gandy of Williamston, SC, Amelia Hoover of Iva, SC and her very special relative: Tonia Vaughn Williams of Williamston, SC.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brothers: Willie Hicks, Tommy Hicks, Marshall Shaw.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
