Richard Lamar Medlin “Richie”, 50, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024, at Callie and John Rainey Hospice House.
Born on August 16, 1974, in Anderson SC, he was the son of Doris Lynn Neal Medlin and the late Ralph Lamar Medlin.
Richie was known for many things, loving his family, always willing to help, very hard worker and he was working until his illness would not allow him to work anymore. He will be missed.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother: Neil Medlin; sister: Cindy Watt; nephew: Jessie Medlin and a niece: Brittany Medlin.
In addition to his father, he is predeceased by a brother-in-law: Bobby Watt.
A memorial service will be held at 11am on Friday, September 27, 2024, at New Seasons Holiness Church with Pastor Dale Singleton officiating.
The family will be at their respective homes.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
