Robert Dale “Bobby” Atkins, 62, of Iva, SC, passed away on Friday September 8, 2023.
Born in Anderson, SC, on December 29, 1960, he was the son of Frances Lillian Atkins and the late James Morris “Slim” Atkins.
In addition to his Mother, he is also survived by his Daughter: Cheyenne Elizabeth Atkins and Honorary Daughter: Everlee; Brothers: Steve Atkins and Curtis Atkins (Donna); Sisters: Deborah Machen and Susan Sears (Billy); as well as many nieces and nephews.
Bobby is also preceded in death by his Grandparents: Monroe White, Mary Lunsford White, George Tinsley Atkins, and Margaret Greenway Atkins.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Tuesday September 12, 2023, at the Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel. Interment will follow at South Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1pm to 2pm, prior to the service Tuesday, at the Mortuary.
The family will be at the home of his Mother, Frances Atkins.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
