Mike Garrison, 71, of Anderson, SC passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Anmed Health.
Born on September 18, 1948 in Anderson, SC he was the son of the late Robert Charles Garrison and Johnnie Mae Todd. He was the husband of 42 years to Margaret “Mac” Garrison and was a loving and caring father to his children and his children at heart. Mike served with the US Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was an avid gardener and retired from TTI in 2019 after 22 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Matthew (Jennifer), Clint (Denise), Hunter (Ashleigh), and Nikki; brothers: Dennis Garrison, Ronnie Garrison, and Rickey Garrison; 9 grandchildren and one on the way.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers: John Garrison and Jimmie Garrison; and sister: Nancy Garrison.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Sosebee Mortuary, South Chapel and will be officiated by Reverend Terri Craft. Burial will follow at MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:30pm-2pm, at the South Chapel.
The family will be at the residence.
