Roger Dale Bagwell, 66, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Tuesday October 17, 2023, at the Rainey Hospice House.
Born on March 10, 1957, in Honea Path, SC, he was the son of the late James Troy Bagwell and Betty Bolt Bagwell, he was the husband of Valerie Bagwell. Dale attended Gethsemane Baptist Temple.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his step-son: Shannon Murphy; step-daughter: Misty Wooten (Chuck); brother: Kenneth Bagwell (Debbie); sister: Sandra Parnell; 3 step-grandchildren; 4 step-great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother: Roy Bagwell and brother-in-law: Charles Parnell.
The funeral will be held at Gethsemane Baptist Temple on Tuesday October 24, 2023, at 11am with Pastor Sam Duncan officiating and burial to follow at South Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held at Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel on Monday October 23, 2023, from 5pm to 7pm.
The family will be at their respective homes.
Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family.
