Roger Dale Stone 66, of Anderson SC passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at his home.
Born in Clinton, SC, on October 31, 1956, he was the son of the late Lewis and Margie Stone. Dale was the Pastor of Freewill Missionary Chapel, he loved hunting, fishing, his friends and his church family.
He is survived by his wife: Katrina Denise Stone; sons: Jimmy Edward Swaney (Crystal and Clinton Swaney (Amy); daughters: Jennifer Stone Hood (Timothy) and Kristi Campbell; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild on the way.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a brother: Jimmy Darrell Stone; sister: Elizabeth Ann Thompson and 2 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Faith Memorial Tabernacle on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at 2pm.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
