Rose Furtick, 91, of Anderson SC, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Callie and John Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Virginia on July 16, 1934, she was the daughter of the late William and Ella Butler, a retired school teacher and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband: Artie Furtick; sons: Cliff (Krista), David (Becky), Paul (Cathy), Rusty (Barbara) and Craig (Beth); grandchildren: Jenelle (Dominic), Andrew, Lauren (Jacob), Patrick (Savannah), Taylor (Karla), Katie, Ben (Suzy), Josh (Meg), David (Laura), Haley, Amanda (Brandon), Micah, Maddie, and Macey; as well as 15 great-grandchildren.
The family will hold a service at a later date.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
