Roy Edward Taylor January 11, 1935 - March 8, 2023

Roy Edward Taylor, 88, of Pendleton SC, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023.

Born in Anderson SC on January 11, 1935, he was the son of the late George W. and Eva Taylor. He retired from AnMed Health Medical Center, was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church and was an avid gardener who in turn shared with the community.

He is survived by his wife: Charlotte Taylor; daughters: Kelli Caldwell (Mike) and Traci Baldwin; brother: Harold Taylor (Betty); sister: Doris Hopper; grandchildren: Nixon and Ramey Bartley and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a brother: Gary Taylor and his sisters: Madolon Dalrymple and Emily Bobo.

A funeral service will be held at 11am at Lebanon Baptist Church on Saturday, March 11, 2023 with Pastor Barry Robinson, Pastor Harry Warren and Pastor Wayne Watson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

A visitation will be held prior to the service at the church on Saturday, March 11, 2023, from 10am to 11am.

The family will be at the home.

The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
