Ruby Ann Barry, 76, of Pelzer, SC, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023, at her residence.
Born in Oconee, SC on April 24, 1947; she was the daughter of the late Lewis Robert and Annie Posey Cobb and married to the late Dennis Arthur Barry.
Ruby Ann was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved her family and ensured they were always taken care of.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Tony Smith (Karla) and Mark Smith; brothers: William and Franklin Cobb; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is also predeceased by a son, Kenny Smith; four brothers; one sister; and one grandson.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family will be at the home of her son, Tony and Karla Smith, 206 Summer Way, Williamston, SC.
Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel, is assisting the family.

I remember seeing her last at our class reunion in 2015. Please know her friends are praying for all of you. We loved her, and we know she loved us in return.

She was such a nice person and always had a smile for everyone. She overcame many challenges in her life, for which I respected her all the more. Her family has my deepest sympathy.
