Ruby Ellis Cox Hilley, 98, of Anderson, SC, passed away at home on Wednesday July 9, 2014, her son was with her.
She was the widow of the late Roy Hilley and a longtime member of New Hope United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Hilley is survived by her son: Thomas Hilley; daughter: Betty Hilley; grandson: Thomas Gilbert; granddaughter: Karen Melton; two great-grandsons: Josh and Ryan Melton; and brothers: Ed and Berry Cox.
Funeral Services will be held at 2p.m. on Monday July 14, 2014 at the Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel, 401 North Main St. Anderson, SC, with burial to follow at New Silverbrook Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Monday at the funeral home.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel will be assisting the family with the arrangements.
