Ruby Harris Bryson, 94, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at her residence.
Born on May 30, 1923; she was the daughter of the late William ‘Bill’ and Mary McAlister Harris and married to the late Alvin R. Bryson. Ruby was a home-maker and a member of West Anderson Church of God.
She is survived by her children: Cathy Raines and Alvin ‘Bubba’ Bryson; sister, Janie Dickson; grandchildren: Peggy R. Bowen (Greg) and Michael Raines (Lisa); great-grandchildren: Greg, Brooke, Jessica, Jewel, Maggie, Rheanna, and Carly; great-great grandchildren: Lily, Christopher, Molly, Scotty, and Yianni.
In addition to her parents and husband; she is also predeceased by her brothers: Azalee, James, Stoney, Ray, F.E., W.T., L.T., and William Harris; and sister: Corrine Goldsmith.
Services will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 2pm officiated by Pastor Mark Daniel at Sosebee Mortuary, South Chapel. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at the Mortuary prior to the service from 1pm – 2pm on Thursday.
Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel, is assisting the family.
