Ruby L Proctor, 89, of Abbeville, SC, passed away on Saturday February 7, 2015 at the Hospice Care of the Piedmont, Greenwood, SC.
Born on September 30, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Lee and Grace Terry Lynch and wife to the late John W Proctor. She was a member of Lowndesville Baptist Church and a Sunday School Teacher for 50 years. She was also a retiree of Milliken.
She is survived by her children; Larry Proctor, Pamela Price (Thomas), Eileen Fleming, Jerald Proctor (Lynn), Donna Ferguson, Tammy Dilleshaw and Michael Proctor (Tammy), Brothers; James and Henry Lynch, Sisters; Betty Campbell, Linda Bradberry, Christine Carter and Artie Lewis, as well as 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters; Margaret and Leila and her grandson; Daniel Ferguson.
Funeral services will be held at 3pm Monday February 9, 2015 at the Lowndesville Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Fred Griggs, Rev. Scotty Willoughby Rev. Mark Herring and Rev. Jimmy Alewine. Burial will follow at Smyrna Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7pm to 9pm Sunday February 8, 2015 at the Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel.
The family will be at the home of granddaughter; Tena Smith.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
