Ruby Vera Wilbanks Shaw, 80, of Anderson, SC, wife of John Franklin Shaw, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 after a long illness surrounded by her loving family.
Born on April 28, 1936 in Madison (Oconee County), SC; she was one of 15 children born to the late E.J. and Bessie Ramey Wilbanks. Ruby was of the Baptist faith and a longtime member of Salem Baptist Church. She worked at the Singer Plant for many years and retired from the Anderson Memorial Hospital.

In addition to her parents, she is also predeceased by her 12 siblings, brothers: Frank, Lawrence, Ralph, Cecil, Roscoe, Berri, and Rollie Wilbanks; and sisters: Grace McAlister, Loma Taylor Rholetter, Ollie Bell Dunn, Nellie Hayes, and Ruth Tiller.
