Ruth Ann Conard, 76, of Belton, SC, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at her residence.
Born on January 3, 1950, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Louie and Lydia Brock Davis. Ruth was a breast cancer survivor, spent years as a homemaker, enjoyed babysitting, loved cooking, and was known for her homemade biscuits. Her greatest joy was taking care of others and especially her family.
She is survived by her children: Lynn Hudgens, James Conard, and Shawn Conard; brother: Truman Davis; sisters: Judy Shaw, Marion Newton and Becky Vesey; grandchildren: Britany Parrish, Kristin Hudgens, Jaleha Griffiths and Jessie Conard; great-grandchildren: Christopher Parrish, Kaylynn Mendoza, Gabriella Parrish, Kaleb Parrish, Avery Mendoza, Jacqueline Parrish, Kristina Mendoza, Trey Feathers, Sadie Feathers and Josephine Griffiths.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by a brother: Gerald Davis and a sister: Claudia Davis.
A funeral service will be held at 3pm on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Sosebee Mortuary with Richard Vesey officiating.
The family will be at the home of her granddaughter, Britany Parrish.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
