Sally Ann Woodis, 89 of Anderson, SC passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024.
Born in Arlington, MA on January 11, 1935.
Sally was predeceased in death by her loving husband, Elbert “Woody” Woodis III and her son Steven Woodis of Anderson, SC.
Sally is survived by her son Mark Woodis of Granby, CT as well as her grandchildren Brett Woodis, Megan Woodis Greenbaum, Sarah Marshall, Jessica Woodis, Kristina Woodis and Meghan Brett. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren: Lilly Woodis Greenbaum, Lyla Corbett, Grant and Hamilton Woodis.
Sally was a compassionate soul who touched the hearts of many through her deep love for animals, especially dogs & manatees, unwavering commitment to volunteering (animal shelters, candy striping and church), and passion for exploring the world.
A memorial service will be held at MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery on Monday, February 12, 2024, at 1:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Anderson.
Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
