Sarah Ann Ducworth May 26, 1940 - March 20, 2024

Sarah Ann Ducworth, 83, of Anderson, passed away Wednesday, March 20th, 2024 at Rainey Hospice House.

Born May 26, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Willy and Annie May Monroe. She was the wife of the late William “Bill” Ducworth.

She was a homemaker for all the years her children were growing up, then worked for Anderson School District One and Belk’s Department Store and a lifelong Baptist and a current member of Gaffney Road Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children: William Russell Ducworth, III, Elizabeth Ann Entrekin, John Wayne Ducworth and David Monroe Ducworth; five grandchildren; several great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Walter, Calvin, and Bill Jeanes, and Junior and Haynie Monroe.

Memorial service with be held Wednesday, March 27 at 1PM at MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.

The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
