Seabern Wooten, 76, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Monday April 23, 2018 at the Anmed Health Medical Center.
Born in Greenville, TX on September 29, 1941, he was the son of the late Dennie and Merle Wooten and husband to Joann Wooten. Seabern was a veteran of the US Air Force and was retired from AIG and a retired minister.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Marty Looney (Mark), Lucy Dingman and Dennie Wooten (Pat), sisters: Martha McLeroy and Nita Folger (David), Grandchildren: Elizabeth Cranford (Jason), Jacqui Grant (Steve), Lee Wooten (Whitney), Rebecca Shaw (Justin), Angie Looney, Tara Bowers (Carl), Meagan Baker (Josh); great-grandchildren: Tyler Grant, Xander Scoggins, Parker and Alivia Baker, Trace Bowers, Addy, Kendall, Jake and Judah Shaw; as well as his precious dog: Laney.
In addition to his parents, he is also predeceased by a grandson, Brian Dingman.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30pm on Thursday April 26, 2018 at Temple Baptist Church with Dr. Steve Hurte and Mike Looney officiating. Burial will follow the service at MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery with military honors.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12pm to 1:30pm at the Church.
The family will be at the home of his daughter: Marty Looney.
