Shannon L. Byrum, 72, of Iva, SC, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at her home.
Born on June 22, 1954, in San Antonio, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Edna Seiler. Shannon was a Christian and a member of Union Baptist Church, loved her job as a CNA in Home Health for at least 25 years. She had a big heart, loved traveling to the beach, Port A in Texas, the mountains, cruises and train rides to California.
She is survived by her husband: Clinton Junior Byrum; son: Bryan Killen (Jennifer); stepdaughters: Renea Mulkey (Chuck) and Amy Eskew; sister: Susan George; grandchildren: Scarlett Killen, Bently Killen, Claudia Mulkey, Easton Mulkey, Dustin Eskew, Reese Eskew and Jacob Altizer.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brother: Steven Seiler.
A memorial service will take place at Sosebee Mortuary on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 11am with Pastors Bobby Byrum and Dan Williams officiating.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
