Sharon Cassada, 66, of La France, SC, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late William Berkley Cassada Jr. and Virginia Hazel Ruth Richey Cassada. Sharon was a U.S. Army veteran, attended Orrville United Methodist Church, formerly served as a Sunday School teacher and choir director, and cared for her grandmother. She was the wife of the late Francis Edward Krause.
She is survived by her sons: Charlie Cassada, Robert Krause and Joey Krause; brother: William Cassada (Barbara); sister: Cynthia Davis, and her caregiver: Lance Olinger.
No services are scheduled at this time.
The family will be at their respective homes.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.

May 24, 2026 at 11:11 pmI used to work with Sharon at holiday inn she was my best friend and she saved me one time when my sugar dropped she stopped working got me some orange juice and I was fine I was thinking of her a lot lately always wondered what ever happen to her wish I could have got to see her one more time I know she will be missed my thoughts and prayers go out to her family .
