Sheila Veronica Suarez Rodriguez Hensley, born on April 30th, 1979, daughter of Bernardo Suarez passed away on Wednesday, March 19th, 2025.
Born in Caguas, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Nancy Rodriguez. She held many jobs over the course of her life and traveled all over during it. She had many hardships and struggles in her life, but despite it all she was very outgoing, adventurous, creative, funny and charismatic. Being fluently bilingual, she could talk to or approach anyone and was fearless in that. It was normal not to hear from her for long spouts as she spent time with different groups of friends or family as she had a lot of both, nor was she one to be tied to modern social media. She loved the outdoors and was a country girl at heart. Although that did not limit her love for other cultures; she enjoyed hip-hop and would stand up for anyone she felt was being mistreated due to their background. She did not judge others for where they were in life or how they got there; only for who they were when she was around them.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her sons: Tony Lee Miller, Stephen Alexander Hoffman, Angel Thomas Hoffman of Pelzer; Granddaughter Addie Hoffman, Step-mother Debbie Suarez, Sister Vanessa Suarez, Brother Joseph Suarez, Nieces, Amya Mosley, Jenny Mosley, Tytianna Bigby, Raemani Dodson and Nephews, Zaylen Miller and Za’Kari Miller.
The family of Sheila will be receiving friends on Monday, March 31, 2025, from 4pm to 5pm at Living Water Church with a memorial service following at 5:00 pm.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
