Shelby Mays, 81, of Iva, SC, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022, at the Rainey Hospice House.
She was born on December 26, 1940, in Joanna, SC, she was the daughter of the late Curtis and Frances Oswalt. She was an avid member of the Gethsemane Baptist Temple.
Shelby is survived by her brother: Curtis Oswalt Jr; her sister: Mollie Cieluch; four granddaughters: Melissa Soccio (Doug Soccio), Bunnie Shirley (Chris Shirley), Paige South, and Ashley South; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son: Dale South; and daughter: Teresa Gaines.
