Teresa Black Jacks, 61, of Anderson SC, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023.
Born on February 14, 1962, in Anderson SC, she was the daughter of Etrulia Black and the late Ervin Ezekiel Black. She was the wife of Freddie Jacks Jr. Teresa was a loving mother and nana. She opened up her home to anyone in need and nobody ever went hungry.
In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by her son: Clarence Allen; step-sons: Gavin Jacks and Grant Jacks (Amanda); daughters: Brandi Allen and Makenzie McCall (Seth); brother: Ervin Keith Black; sister: Sherry Kim Shiflet; 10 grandchildren including Piper Allen and 2 raised in the home, Elijah and Gabriel Allen.
The family will be at their respective homes.
Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family.

Every time we had to interact with her, she was so kind! She will be missed in our community (I’ve already seen some comments wishing her a happy birthday today) and we are sending everyone our positive thoughts and support.
