Terry Michael Richey,75, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Friday January 17, 2025, at the Callie and John Rainey Hospice House.

Born in Anderson, SC, on August 17, 1949, he was the son of the late Mary Evelyn Farr Richey and William Glenn Richey. Terry was a Veteran of the US Air Force and served as a clerk for 42 years with the United States Postal Service. He was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Terry is survived by his wife: Kathy Steadman Richey; Children: Suzanna Michelle Richey Dalmau ( Mario Gomez Dalmau), Terry Michael Richey II ( Aubrey Newhouse Richey), Christopher Mark Richey (Chrissy Pettengill Richey), Melissa Brooke Richey Sitzman ( James Wayne Sitzman), and Lauren Ashley Richey Cooper ( Allen Joshua Cooper II); as well as twelve Grandchildren and four Great-Grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings: Larry Glenn Richey and Barbara Faye Richey Williams.

He served many callings as a member of the church, some of his favorites including: Ward Mission Leader, Stake Organist, Choir Director, and Pianist. He loved to share the gospel and testimony of Jesus Christ through word and music. Terry was a loving, loyal husband and dedicated Father and Grandfather. He loved Heavenly Father and all of his creations, some of his pleasures included: gardening, landscaping ( sharing his bounty), caring for animals and serving his fellow man. His greatest joy in life were his wife, children, and grandchildren. We are forever grateful for the time we had with him. Until we meet again, we will carry his love, his laughter, the twinkle in his eyes and dimples in his smile.

A Private Memorial service will be held at a later date.

The Sosebee Mortuary & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
