Tommy Simmons, 70 of Anderson SC passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born in Tococa, Ga, he was the son on the late George and Blanche Simmons. He was the spouse to Gaye Simmons.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons: Don Simmons and Steve Sawyer; daughter: Tina Davis; sisters: Gladell Carter of Virginia Beach, Va; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he is predeceased by brothers: Billy and Ed Simmons.
Services will take place at Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at 2:30pm with Rev. Phil Sears and Michael Osborne officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will take place at the Mortuary on Saturday, June 7, 2014 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.
The family will be at the home.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
