Tony Hurt, 66, of Anderson SC, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023, at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born on November 13, 1956, in Charleston SC, he was the son of the late Herbert Anthony and Ruby Davis Hurt. He was married for 43 years to the late Sonja Beth Brock Hurt. Tony served in the SC National Guard and was a mechanic by trade. He had a passion for Harley Davidson Motorcycles, fishing and shooting guns, not hunting, just shooting guns.
He is survived by his children: Tonya Selman, Krystal Lecroy (Scott) and April Hurt (Derrick; sisters: Shirley Brown (Charlie) and Patsy Baxter; 12 grandchildren; his best friend: Don Morris; 2nd best friend and K-9: Bandit Rose.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is predeceased by a son: T.J. Hurt.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 11am to 1pm at the Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel.
The family will be at the residence.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
