Treaco Deran Hoover, 46, of Calhoun Falls, SC, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024.
Born in Seneca, SC, on September 19, 1977, he was with the Honea Path Police Department and with Law Enforcement for 25 years, a Volunteer Fire Fighter and a Mason.
He is survived by his wife: Kelly Hoover; daughter: Kielyn Hoover Straw; stepdaughter: Hannah Driver; stepsons: Austin Driver and Edwin Driver; brothers: Dantony Hoover and Deontae Hoover; and his sister: Kala Hoover.
He is predeceased by his mother: Vanessa Hoover, and grandmother: Betty Jo Hunter.
Visitation will be held at Sosebee Mortuary Iva Chapel on Thursday, February 22, 2024, from 1pm to 3pm. Law Enforcement Honors with a Last Call will follow.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, Iva Chapel, 204 East Green Street, Iva, SC is assisting the family with arrangements.

My thoughts and prayers are with you as you are going through this time of Treaco’s passing and homegoing. I talked with Treaco often and our conversations always ended up being about our Lord and our families. I know he is at peace now in Heaven with our Father. He was a great man, friend, and co-worker. I will greatly miss him.
