Vestal M. Bare, 92, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2014.
Born on October 21, 1921, he was the son of the late Edward and Lessie Bare and husband to Helen Lovely Bare. He was also a Veteran of the US Army, having served in World War II.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his step-sons; Paul Lovely of Anderson, SC, Henry Lovely of Tacoma, WA, step-daughters; Barbara Whitaker of Catawba, SC and Maury Linda Lovely of Anderson, SC, Brothers; Sonney Bare of Burlington, NC, Clay Bare of Burlington, NC, and Cliff Bare of Siler City, NC, Sisters; Ruby Owens of West Jefferson, NC and Georgia Balock of Graham, NC, as well as dozens and dozens of nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2p.m. on Tuesday September 23, 2014 at the Homeland Park Church of God with burial to follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6p.m. to 8p.m. on Monday September 22, 2014 at the Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel.
