Virginia Annette Daritey, born in Anderson County, was the beloved daughter of Mary Ellen and Melvin Leland Daritey. She was preceded in death by her brother, James Edward “Jim Ed” Daritey.
Virginia, lovingly known as “Net” to many, resided in Belton with her life partner, Lynn, and J.T. She was called to her eternal home on Sunday, May 24, at 4:40 p.m.
She leaves behind her daughters, Brittany Elliott and Michelle Daritey; her bonus child, Kris; her grandson, J.T., who resided in the home; Tyler Clem; Issie; Rocky; Rebecca; Thelma; and her beloved nephew, Ryan Daritey.
To know Net was to love her. She played such an important role in the lives of so many, always offering love, guidance, and support to those around her. Net was passionate about the restaurant industry and spent many years preparing favorite meals for her community while working in a local steakhouse in Anderson.
She is now healed and finally has the quality of life she longed for. Though many hearts are broken by her passing, there is comfort in knowing she is at peace until we all meet again.
Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
