Virginia P. Elrod, 74, of Anderson, SC passed away on October 1, 2014.
Born in Anderson, SC on March 18, 1940; she was the daughter of Judge Leland and Willie Mae Pruitt. She was married to the late Jerry K. Elrod, Sr.
She is survived by her sons: Randy Pruitt, Robert Caldwell, Jr. (Donna), Jerry K. Elrod, Jr.; daughters: Michelle McLane (Jerry) and Melissa Moore; 16 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
Services officiated by Rev. Wendell Bannister will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 2pm at Sosebee Mortuary, Downtown Chapel. Burial will follow at South Lawn Memorial Gardens.
The family will be at the daughter Michelle’s home and will receive friends at the Downtown Chapel, on Friday, October 3, 2014 from 6pm – 8pm.
