Wallace Michael “Mike” McCuen, 54, of Honea Path, SC, passed away on Sunday September 3, 2023.
Born in Anderson, SC, on October 31, 1968, he was the son of Sloan Wallace McCuen and Margaret McCuen. Mike loved his family and friends and was always willing to help anyone that he could.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his Wife of over 33 years, Kelly McCuen; Daughter: Jennifer McCuen; Sister: Janet Alewine (Pnut); Grandchildren: Kris, Amy, and Allee; and Daughter-in-Law: Kristin McCuen Silvers (Jay).
Mike is preceded in death by his Son: Matthew McCuen; and his Grandparents: Bill and Ruth McCuen and Riley and Reba Long.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Friday September 8, 2023, at Chiquola Baptist Church, Honea Path, SC, and will be officiated by Rev. Mark Thomas and Rev. Brad Haynes. A private interment will follow at Eastview Cemetery in Honea Path, SC.
The family will be at the home of his parents, but will receive friends, prior to the service, at the church Friday, from 1pm to 2pm.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.

September 6, 2023 at 7:50 amI am so sorry you are all having to go through this heartache. While Mike had his flaws, he had many great attributes that are to be remembered and cherished. I have known him basically my entire life, of course. I know you will miss him dearly. When I heard about him passing, my heart broke too so I can only imagine your heartache. I do pray that God will provide comfort in those dark days and bring good memories to make you smile and hopefully laugh.
