Wanda Nichols August 11, 1970 - May 2, 2023

Wanda Ashworth Nichols, 52, of Anderson SC, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at AnMed health medical Center.

Born in Anderson SC, on August 11, 1970, she was the daughter of the late Wade Ashworth Jr and Brenda Jennings Segars. Wanda gave special care to many people in home health care. She was a talented and wonderful person that loved needle point, cross stitching, and Scooby Doo.

She is survived by her husband: Tora Lynn Nichols; children: Graham Norris (Megan), Stephanie Nichols, Tora Lynn Nichols Jr (Mary), Melanie Sue Holland (Robert), Kayla Leeann Henderson (Johnathan), and Barbara Abee (Johnathan); sisters: Delores Ashworth (John Baker) and Ronda Miller (Randy); brother: Ray Segars; 18 grandchildren plus 1 due in December ; 1 great-grandchild; a very special nephew: Keith Caldwell and many loving and caring friends.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by a daughter: Crystal R. Barr and brothers: Ricky Segars and Brian Segars.

A funeral service will be held at Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 12:30pm.

Visitation will be held prior to the service at the South Chapel on Saturday, May 6, 2023, from 11am to 12:30pm.

The family will be at the home of her sister, Delores Ashworth, 130 Tanglewood Drive Anderson SC.

The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
