William (Billy) Richardson, 73, of Iva SC, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Rainey Hospice House.
Raised in Georgia, he was the son of the late Jim Tom and Nona Thomason Richardson, and the spouse to Maxie Jennings Richardson. Billy was an Electrician, of the Baptist Faith and served in the Georgia National Guard.
In addition to his wife Maxie; he is also survived by his daughters: Pamela Richardson Purdy (Michael), and Christie Richardson; brothers: Bobby Richardson (Dee Dee) of Piedmont, SC; sister: Martha Brown (Austin); grandchildren: Shane (Kasey) and Shawn (Heather) Purdy; great-grandchildren: Lia and Kylie Purdy.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a sister Betty Craft.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 11am at Sosebee Mortuary, South Chapel, with Rev. Jerry Gray and Rev. Mike McMillan officiating.
Visitation will be held following the service.
The family will be at the residence.
