William Bobby Richey, 79, of La France, SC, passed away on Sunday May 31, 2015 at Richard Campbell Veterans Nursing Home.
Born on January 12, 1936, he was the son of the late William James and Louise Richey and spouse of Gwendolyn Louise Richey. He was also a Veteran of the US Army and loved to fish and garden.
In addition to his spouse, he is survived by his son: Bucky Richey and wife Pamela; daughter: Sandy Richey Lawson and husband Timothy; brothers: Michael Richey and wife Judy, Jimmy Richey, and David Richey; sisters: Pat Brewer and husband Bobby and Teresa Whitman; as well as grandchildren: Phoebe and Blaine.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a son: Kenny Bobby Richey; daughter: Sabrina Annette Richey; and brothers: Rudolph and Buddy Richey.
Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 1pm in the Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel with Rev. Larry Epps officiating. Burial will follow at MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery with Military Honors.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 from 6pm to 8pm at the Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel.
The family will be at their respective homes.
