Willie Mae Smith, 95, of 906 River Heights Circle, Anderson, SC passed away on June 6, 2014 at Ellenburg Nursing Center.
Born in Anderson County, SC to the late Walter and Texie Elrod; and was married to the late Jessie H. Smith. She was of the Holiness Faith.
She is survived by her children: Wayne Smith, Sr. (Mary), Haskell Smith, and Faye Ann Hester (Allen); sisters: Frances Singleton and Daisy Lee McConnell; 30 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and spouse; she is predeceased by a son Charles Hampton Smith and daughter Carolyn Yvonne Bannister.
Services will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at 7pm at Sosebee Mortuary, South Chapel officiated by Pastor Tommy Hart. Private burial services will held.
The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the mortuary prior to the service from 6pm – 7pm on Sunday.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel, is assisting the family.
