Willie Powell, 73, of Iva, SC, passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2018 at Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Anderson, SC, on November 16, 1944, he was the son of the late Bill and Gladys Sanders Powell. He was a Veteran of the US Air Force and retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass.
He is survived by his sister by choice, Mary Caldwell and nieces by choice, Darlene Cleveland (Lee), Lynn McAlister (Tommy), and Ann Turner.
Funeral services with Military Rites will be held at 4pm on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel with Rev. Michael Wiles. Private burial to follow the service.
Visitation will be held prior to the service at the South Chapel from 3pm to 4pm on Wednesday.
The family will be at their respective homes.
