Johnny L. Brown, 72, formerly of Anderson, SC, passed away on Sunday November 13, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on May 5, 1950, in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late James and Francis Whitaker Brown. Johnny Loved his friends and family with all his heart. He was very faithful to his church home. His pride and joy were his grandchildren and great grandchild. You would never fail to laugh with his witty sense of humor.
Johnny is survived by his Children: Kristy B. Smith (Dean) and Autumn Renee Eller (Dale); Brother: Jimmy Brown (Carolyn); Grandchildren: Caden Hanning, MicKenna Eller, Xander Eller, Zane Eller, Trista Eller, Bailey Keisler and Drake Smith; and Great grandchild: Presley Keisler.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Wednesday November 16, 2022, at the Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel and will be officiated by Chaplain Dennis Rackley.
The family will receive friends from 12pm to 2pm Wednesday, prior to the service, at the Mortuary.
The family will be at their respective homes.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel will be assisting the family.

December 2, 2022 at 4:03 pmJohnny and I attended Flat Rock Elementary School together. We played together at recess and were in a Harvest Moon play where Johnny sang. He had a sweet, loving spirit and was kind to all. He’s always been a special memory in my life. My deepest sympathy to his family!
