Cynthia “Cindy” Cromer Jenkins, 73, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Piedmont Medical Center.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 6:30 pm on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732. A private burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson, SC.
Born in Anderson, SC, Cindy was the daughter of the late Charles Cromer and the late Vera Burgess Cromer. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Renee Jenkins. She was the volunteer coordinator at the Museum of York County for more than 20 years. Cindy loved spending time at the beach. She also loved traveling and especially enjoyed her time in Australia.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Bobby N. Jenkins; two sons, Robert Jenkins and Matthew Jenkins; her two brothers, Jason Cromer and Jeff Cromer; and her sister, Libby Mayse.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. Jenkins’s name to the Humane Society of York County, 8177 Regent Parkway, Ste 103, Ft Mill, SC 29715.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel, is assisting with the graveside arrangements.
