Angelica Yvonne Willingham “Angel, NaeNae” at the age of 52, departed Anmed Medical Center to begin her spiritual journey home with Jesus on June 10th, 2024.
Born in Galveston, Texas on April 12th, 1972, she was the daughter of the late James & Melodye White. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in passing by her grandparents, Donald Nordquist and Arthur & Carol Pugh. Along with grandchildren Nolan & Waylon Willingham.
Better known as Angel to many, she attended Westside High School. She was a devoted mother to her children, whom she loved, adored, and raised on her own. As a young single mother, she worked 3 jobs while also attending TriCounty Technical College to make a better life for her children.
In October 1995 she was in a traumatic car accident that drastically changed the course of her life. She fought a lifelong battle with disabilities & sickness.
In 2019, Angel began caring for her mother, Melodye, until her passing in 2022. She was known for helping others most of her life. She will be remembered for her caring, kind, generous heart!
She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Amber Adams, and three sons, Andrew (Summer) Willingham, Aaron Willingham, Anthony Kay. Nine grandchildren, Ka’mya, Nevaeh, Braylin, Mason, Kristiana, Cattleya, Mireya, Kamara, & Kingston. Her sister Jamie (Antione) Truesdale and her brother Matthew (Kristine) White. Also, her nieces, whom she loved as her own, Jessica (Clarence) Cunningham, Amari Cunningham, Jacqueline Jones, Joanna Truesdale, Abbye White, Alston White. Great nephews Jamari, Jyaire, Josiah. Also to cherish her memory, lifelong friends, Karen Brown and Cathy Grey. Along with many others!
Services will be held 1pm Saturday June 15th, 2024, at Greater Love Bible Church, 500 Lawrence Rd. Anderson, SC, 29621. Officiating Pastor Patrick Harrison. The family will be at the home of her sister 608 Camfield Rd. Anderson, SC, 29621.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
