Ada Virginia Nichols October 17, 1934 - January 13, 2024

Ada Virginia Nichols, 89, of Starr, SC, passed away on Saturday January 13, 2024, at Iva Post Acute.

Born on October 17, 1934, in Tampa, FL, she was the daughter of the late Lee O. and Mamie L. Pettigrew. She was the wife of the late Delbert Nichols. She was a member of Antreville Church of God. Ada was a good mother and grandmother who loved her children.

She is survived by her sons: Delbert N. Nichols (Patricia), Jack Nichols, Marvin Nichols (Grace); daughters: Joyce Gault and Norma Mcallister; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her daughters: Cathy Hamby and Juanita Stamps; brother: Murel E. Pettigrew; sister: Velma Hampton; and 1 great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at Cross Hill Church of God 1703 SC-252, Belton, SC 29627 officiated by Pastor Larry Richardson. A service date will be announced.

The family will be at the home of Marvin Nichols.
