Amy Ruth McClatchy, 49, of Anderson, SC, took her heavenly flight on Friday, November 11, 2022, at her residence.
Born in Anderson, SC on March 16, 1973; she was the daughter of Betty Feltman McJunkins and the late Tommy Clifton McJunkins. Amy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter.
In addition to her mother, she is also survived by her husband, John Thomas McClatchy; children: Hanna Elizabeth, Haley Elexis, and Harmony Elaine McClatchy; sister, Tammy Lynn Hanks (Danny); and grandchildren: Saylor and Ivy Grace Young.
Services officiated by Pastor Phil Sears will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022, at 2pm at Sosebee Mortuary, South Chapel.
The family will be at their respective residences and will receive friends prior to the service on Friday at the Mortuary from 1pm – 2pm.
Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel, is assisting the family.

She also was a great Gigi to her grandchildren but now she isn’t suffering anymore. We love you mom and hope your flight in heaven was amazing we love you and miss you.
