Benjamin (Benny) Brian Evans, 58, of Iva SC, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2015 at Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Anderson SC, he was the son of the late Norman and Dorothy Campbell Evans, and the spouse to Charlene Wiles Evans. He was of the Methodist faith, a Veteran of the US Marine Corp Reserve and was known for being a loving husband, father and grandfather.
In addition to his spouse, he is survived by a son: Erich McDonald; daughters: Allison Burdette and Melanie Evans Duffell (Brian); 8 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a sister: Faye Blackstone.
Funeral services will be held at Sosebee Mortuary Downtown Chapel, on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 3:30pm with Rev. Floyd Stancil officiating. Burial will follow in Iva City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 2:30pm to 3:30pm at the Downtown Chapel.
The family will be at the residence.
