Bobbie Nichols Cross, 94, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023 at National Health Care, Anderson.

Born on April 16, 1929 in Anderson, SC; she was the daughter of the late M.D. Nichols and Hattie Bradley Nichols.

Bobbie, first and foremost loved the Lord; her second love was her children.  She dedicated her life to both.  She was often found with her Bible in her lap and loved telling others of her Lord and Savior.

She is survived by her children: Janice Bauer (Terry), Judy Mitchell (Steve), and Dale Cross (Tammy); sister, Nancy Worley; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

In addition to her mother and father; she was also predeceased by her step-mother, Clara Brock Nichols; brothers: Lawrence and Sherman Nichols; and sisters:  Hattie Mae Wilson, Gertrude Dudley, Geneva Brown, and Jean Alewine.

Services will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel at 4pm.  Pastor Dale Cross and Pastor Archie Sharpe will officiate.  A private burial will take place at South Lawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will be at 705 Martin Drive, Anderson, SC and will receive friends prior to the service on Tuesday at the Mortuary from 2:30pm – 4pm.

Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel, is assisting the family.

Services will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel at 4pm.

    My heart is with each of you at this very sad time. Janice and Judy, brother Dale and Steve, I have been in the Cross home many times as a teen and I love you all dearly. You are in my thoughts and prayers as you go through these days ahead. Love all of you!

    We just found out about Bobbie today., 09/02/23. We know that she is now in heaven singing with the angels. She went through so much in life but she gave so much to others. We are so proud that we knew Bobbie and loved her. We ask special blessings on her family and know that her faith will live through them.
