Boyce Lamar Mitchell, 64, of Anderson, SC passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Rainey Hospice House.
He is survived by his brother Ray Mitchell; sister Doris Newton (Bill); and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Willie Daniel and Annie Howell Mitchell; brothers: Herbert and Winfred Mitchell; sisters: Sudie Bell Hall and Laddie Leona Dutton.
Services will be held at Sosebee Mortuary, South Chapel, on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 2pm officiated by Rev. Sam Duncan. Burial will follow at Long Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will be at the home of his brother Ray, 206 Ashley Ave., Anderson, SC and they will receive friends Monday, June 9, 2014 from 6pm – 8pm at the mortuary.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel, is assisting family.
