Caden Hanning, 24, of Anderson SC, passed away on Thursday, July 31,2025, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and unforgettable memories.
Born on July 27, 2001, Caden brought joy into the world from the very beginning and continued to shine brightly in the lives of everyone who knew him. Caden was the beloved son of Jason Hanning, Autumn Eller and her husband Dale Eller.
He was a proud veteran who served his country with honor and courage. His strength, dedication, and heart for others were evident both in and out of uniform. He cherished his family deeply and shared a special bond with each of them. His infectious sense of humor, outgoing personality, and radiant smile made every gathering brighter, and his spirit will continue to echo in the laughter of those who loved him. He will be deeply missed, but forever remembered with love, laughter, and gratitude.
In addition to his parents, Caden is survived by his brothers: Will Cox, Anthony Smith, Zane Eller, and Xander Eller; sisters: Trista Eller and Mickenna Eller, and his grandmother: Janice Hanning.
He is predeceased by his sister: Alisha Oliver Faut; grandparents: Johnny Brown, Diane Mullinax, and Loren Hanning.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Monday, August 11, 2025, at Freedom Center South, 3235 D L Dr, Anderson, SC 29624, by Phil and Jeremy Sears.
Visitation will take place prior to the service on Monday at the church from 12:30pm to 1:45pm.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
