Joe Maddox, 57, formerly of Anderson, SC, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.
Born in Anderson SC, on March 22, 1968, he was the son of the late Willie Joe Maddox and the late Brenda Ann King Maddox. Joe was a dedicated fan of the Atlanta Braves and Clemson Tigers. He formerly worked at the Waffle House and Capris in Anderson and was a member of John Wesley United Methodist Church. He will be missed.
He is survived by his brother: Mark Maddox (Angelina); nieces: Mandy Mims (Nathan) and Somer Wiggins (Tyler); great nephews: Raylen and Riley Wiggins; aunt: Deborah McKinney; cousins: Kerri Howard (James) and Katie Gillespie.
A graveside service will be held at South Lawn Memorial Gardens on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at 3pm with Pastor Jeff Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
The family will be at their respective homes.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
