Calvin J. Nichols, 77, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2017.
He retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass and a member of Temple Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Nichols; daughters: Jan Cooke, Charlene Gump, both of Anderson, SC, and Vickie Kindred of Lake Norman, NC; brother, Earl Nichols; sister, Gertrude Shiflett; grandchildren: Crystal Blume, Dylan Cooke, Brittany Scott, Jessica Hill, Jennifer Saxon, and Tray Gump.
He is predeceased by his brothers: Harold, James, and Bubba Nichols; and his sister, Mildred Paul.
Services will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at 3pm at Temple Baptist Church officiated by Dr. Steve Hurt and Rev. Claude Dykes.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2pm-3pm at the church on Sunday.
Flowers are optional, but donations may be made to Hospice of the Upstate or to Temple Baptist Church.
